This Cookie Policy explains, in more detail than our Privacy Policy, what cookies and similar technologies Mind Theory ("we," "us," or "our") actually uses on mindtheory.in (the "Site") — not a generic list of what a typical website might use, but what this one does.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit. They can help a site remember information about your visit, or help a service (like analytics) recognize your browser across visits.
2. Cookies We Set Ourselves
Most pages on this Site — articles, quotes, assessments, resources — are plain pages that don't set any cookie of our own at all. A first-party cookie from us only appears when you visit a page that needs to keep track of a short-lived session, specifically our contact form, checkout, and account login pages. That cookie:
- Is used only to protect forms against a type of attack called cross-site request forgery, and — if you're a logged-in team member — to keep you signed in

HttpOnlyandSecure(sent only over an encrypted connection) so it can't be read by page scripts or intercepted in transit
Our self-assessments track your progress and score entirely in your browser's memory while the page is open — not through a cookie or any other stored file, and nothing is saved once you leave the page.

We do not currently run Google AdSense, Facebook/Meta Pixel, or any other advertising network — this Site does not serve ads, and no advertising cookies are set. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
4. Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you see, delete, or block cookies through their settings — check your browser's help section for instructions. Blocking our own essential cookie may prevent the contact form, checkout, or admin login from working correctly; blocking Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity cookies won't affect anything you can do on the Site.
